 12D Macro Language: Special Tailoring of 12d Model

12d Model includes a powerful programming language (4DL) designed to run from within 12d Model.

With the programming language users can build their own options using 12d Models vast library of graphics and analysis commands, or by defining their own routines.

The programming language has been specifically designed to fit in with the ability of 12d Model to an incomplete operation. Hence when user programs (or macros) are running, users can still stack an operation, run other options and then return to the macro.

The programming language has the power to build panels identical in appearance to those supplied with 12d Model. These panels can also include images (for example, the three-centred curved macro shown above) which make the purpose of the macro more easily understood.

Further, macros can be run from special user defined menus thus allowing them to be fully integrated with 12d Model and appear as part of 12d Models menu system.

Using the programming language, 12d Model can be specially tailored for a site or new options produced that do not currently exist in 12d Model.

A large number of macros are supplied by 12D Solutions to extend the capabilities of 12d Model.
